The On Your Mark Family

Inclusive Community Center (ICC)

Our Inclusive Community Center, located at 475 Victory Boulevard, is an innovative facility that was designed to offer a wide array of programs that promote fitness, independence, productivity and creativity.

Our State of the Art Fitness and Wellness Center, Gymnasium, and indoor Pool with ramp access are focused on creating an active and healthy lifestyle. Zumba and Spinning classes provide opportunities for innovative group exercises and socialization. In our Music Studio, individuals are engaged in music instruction, which include percussion, vocal and piano lessons, and perform concerts throughout the year. Our Horticulture Center and Crafts Studio offer stimulating activities that enhance creativity and work skills and provide a sense of accomplishment.

While the center’s programs are created to suit the needs of the individuals we serve, one of our goals include expanding the ICC opportunities to the public using a reverse inclusion model in which we invite the public to participate with On Your Mark individuals. Please see the OYM Community Center for more details about our future plans and goals.

Zumba Class

On Your Mark offers Zumba classes for people with and without disabilities. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music – dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO” allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind and is adapted to suit the needs of all individuals.
